We’ve been doing it. We’ve been making traction, and now the first single is here!

the warm up song

I’ve been performing this song live now for some time, but I felt like it should be documented somewhere too.

This mashup was birthed back in the old Chasing February days. We did it once and it was so loved that we never didn’t do it. Back then we did just “Ain’t nuthin but a G thang”, but it’s evolved over my solo days to a blend of that and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

I like to think of it as a song that touches on nostalgia but it can also be listened to in front of your kids 😂.

It’s juSt a warm up

Like the song is appropriately titled, this is just the warm up. We’re running laps around my creative track and trying to pull out nuggets of greatness that live in my mind.

We have a few more on the books and I’m excited about the direction that we’re headed. For this project I want make sure that I’m pouring all of me in it and that it is fully representative of where I am and have been in life.
